We are three (fairly) young European guys working in IT and business consulting.
This is an idea we've been playing with for more than two years, wondering all the time why it hasn't already broken through or gathered much attention.
Eventually, we decided to try to disseminate the suggestion more widely in the hope that it will serve some useful purpose in the world. At the very least, we might discover a reason why this apparently obvious solution to the copyright problem is not such a good idea!
